Uzbekistan creates 930,500 new jobs in Jan-Nov

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan created some 930,500 new jobs within the programme on creation of jobs and ensuring employment of population in eleven months of 2014, the Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan said.
According to the Ministry, about 341,600 new jobs were created by small enterprises and microfirms in the reporting period.
Largest number of jobs was created in Andijan region (74,900 jobs), Bukhara region (70,700 jobs), Kashkadarya region (83,000), Namangan region (72,000), Samarkand region (88,700), Tashkent region (82,700) and Ferghana region (86,600) and Tashkent city (85,900).
It is planned to create 983,600 new jobs in Uzbekistan in 2014 within the programme on creation of jobs and ensuring employment of population.
