Uzbek-Kazakh trade turnover reaches US$1.6bn in Jan-Jun

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan made up US$1.6 billion in January-June 2014, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Boribay Jeksembin said.

According to data of the envoy, the growth of bilateral trade turnover between two states made up 25% year-on-year in the reporting period.

Kazakh diplomat congratulated people of Uzbekistan with Independence Day and wished prosperity and well-being to the country.
