Islam Karimov familiarizes with Bunyodkor Stadium

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov familiarized with newly constructed buildings in Tashkent city on 29 August 2012.
In particular, President visit Cardiosurgery Complex of the Republican Specialized Center for Surgery named after Vakhidov, UzA reported.
Four-storeyed center is equipped with modern technologies and equipment, used in cardiosurgery. The complex has policlinics for 200 visitors, blood infusion station, departments for treating children with heart problems, labs, and others.
Islam Karimov said that it is vital to use modern medical technologies and equipment. He said that the main goal of medical reforms is to protect health and lives of people.
On the same day, Uzbek President visited newly constructed Bunyodkor football complex and familiarized with activity of Football School.
The complex has educational-administrative corpus, hostel, sport hall, pool and other rooms. There are also computer classes.
Uzbek President Islam Karimov also visited new football stadium of Bunyodkor, which was constructed in line with modern pitch requirements. The capacity of the field is 34,000 people. There is also special sector for people with limited abilities.
Islam Karimov said that safety at stadium should be key and called to develop high culture among fans and ensure respect to all sides.
After that, Uzbek President talked with young football players and handed over gifts to them.
