Projects are being developed to increase the number of tourists from Georgia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- These days, a delegation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, headed by First Deputy Minister U. Azamov, is studying Georgia as a promising tourism market.

The analysis showed that there is a need for more detailed information about tourism, cultural heritage sites of Uzbekistan, as well as for the expansion of advertising and promotional work in Georgia.To determine high-quality and targeted measures in this direction, the delegation of the ministry held talks with representatives of the largest media company in Georgia - AlMA.

During the meeting, the Georgian media company expressed its proposals for placing advertising materials about the tourism opportunities of Uzbekistan in buses, subways, airports, train stations, settlements and social networks in Georgia.

Currently, the ministry is considering the proposals of the AlMA media company to increase the number of tourists visiting Georgia.

At the same time, in order to organize transport and logistics for tourists, First Deputy Minister U. Azamov met with the head of the department of the airline “My way airlines. The issue of organizing regular and charter flights to Uzbekistan was discussed.

The airline said that it would organize marketing work to operate flights in the direction of Uzbekistan and would negotiate with the official organizations of the country.
