The flow of tourists from Georgia to increase

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- These days, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism are in Tbilisi, Georgia, in order to expand cooperation in the field of tourism.

Ministry specialists met with the leadership of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia and provided the foreign official with detailed information about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the conditions created for tourists, and the existing transport and logistics opportunities.

In September 2023, the parties agreed to organize an info tour and B2B meetings on tourist attractions in Uzbekistan with the participation of Georgian tour operators, media representatives and bloggers.

At the same time, it was decided to exchange experience in organizing domestic tourism in Uzbekistan and accurate statistics in this regard.

The National Tourism Administration stated that they would provide practical assistance in organizing a road show in the cities of Georgia in order to popularize the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

For information, for 6 months of this year, the number of tourists from Georgia has doubled compared to the same period of last year.
