Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup starts in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup started in Tashkent. Athletes from 31 countries will compete for victory in the tournament, which will last until 16 April.

The event was attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports, the National Olympic Committee, the International Gymnastics Federation and the Uzbekistan Gymnastics Federation.

In the official part of the event, the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Adkham Ikramov noted the great attention paid to women’s sports in our country, in particular, gymnastic sports, and wished the participants of the prestigious starts success and successful performance. At the end of the official part of the event, all those present received a lot of positive emotions, which, without exaggeration, will remain in the hearts of each participant for a long time.

At the competitions, the honor of our country will be defended by Tahmina Ikromova and Yosmina Rakhimova in the individual program, and Ekaterina Fetisova, Rukhshona Dekhkonova, Shahzoda Ibragimov, Nargiz Dzhumaniyozov, Mumtoza Iskhokzoda, Irodakhon Sodikova - in group exercises.
