Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Agency for the Protection of Consumer Rights under the Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The signing of this Memorandum will ensure the development of the capital market sector and the coordination of measures for the implementation of “The Capital Market Development Program in 2021-2023” launched under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Decree No. PD-6207 "On measures to further develop the capital market" dated by April 13, 2021.
With the accordance of the signed Memorandum, the partners will have joint work on:
Implementation of the Capital Market Development Program and coordination of measures for the capital market sector development;
To build relations between the partners themselves as well as between the officers responsible for the development of draft regulations, organizational measures and analytical data that are planned to be developed under the Capital Market Development Program;
Implement initiatives related to improving the financial literacy of the population and business entities by informing them about financial instruments;
Mutual exchange of experience, experts and information on the further capital market development, increasing the issue of securities, and expanding the participation of individuals and legal entities in the stock market;
Cooperation in the protection of the rights of investors and minority shareholders.
