Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met with the head of the Luxembourg company Sonneg Luxembourg S.A, compatriot Diyor Yakubov.
Sonneg Luxembourg S.A, a textile wholesale company founded in 2014, has earned a reputation as a reliable supplier of textile products for exceptional customer service, industry knowledge and affordable products. Through the Luxembourg warehouse, a wide range of textile products from Uzbekistan is distributed throughout Europe.
The company cooperates with such Uzbek partners as Uztex Group, Elegant, Fiber, Tmt, whose goods are exported through Sonneg Luxembourg SA to the markets of Great Britain, Germany, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech Republic and Italy.
According to Diyor Yakubov, since the beginning of this year, finished textile products under the Uzbek brand have been exported to European markets for about US$100,000, and by the end of the year this figure is expected to rise to eight hundred thousand dollars.
According to the entrepreneur, "finding a buyer for Uzbek products in European markets is not a problem, the problem is in organizing supplies in accordance with European standards on a regular basis."
In this context, it was noted with regret that some exporters are losing the confidence of European partners, lowering attention to the quality of goods in the process of building up partnerships.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing training for Uzbek textile workers and workers in the agro-industrial complex, working out the issue of opening a Trading House in Luxembourg and an exhibition of textile and silk products of Uzbek brands on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.
