Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Mubarek gas processing plant launched sodium sulfide production.
In particular, scientists of the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Almalyk branch of the Tashkent State Technical University, Kimeviy Tekhnologlar LLC and the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant jointly obtained results on the production of sodium sulfide product from hydrogen sulfide contained in acid gases emitted from process plants.
It should be noted that this product is a new import-substituting product not only for the Mubarek Mubarek Gas Processing Plant, but also for the republic.
The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant annually imports 1,350 tonnes of sodium sulfide products for the extraction of precious rare metals from the ore.
These new products will be produced on the basis of planned measures included in the program for the localization of imported products in our country and will make a significant contribution to the economy of the Republic.
