The energy management system ISO 50001 is gradually being introduced at the enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz

ISO 50001 supports organizations in all industries in their efforts to use energy more efficiently through the development of an energy management system.

ISO 50001 is based on a management system model of continuous improvement. Used in conjunction with other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001, this allows organizations to integrate energy management into their overall quality and environmental improvement efforts.

According to the roadmap of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On accelerated measures to improve the energy efficiency of economic and social sectors, the introduction of energy-saving technologies and the development of renewable energy sources", Uzbekneftegaz has developed and approved a network schedule for the implementation of an energy management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard (ISO 50001).

Currently, at the enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz such as: Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, Mubarek Gas Processing Plant, Gazli Oil and Gas Production Department, Ustyurt Gas Processing Department and JV Uz-Kor Gas Chemical LLC, stage-by-stage work is underway to introduce an energy management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard (ISO 50001).
