Rio-2016: Boxer Rustam Tulyaganov advanced to semifinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Boxer Rustam Tulyaganov from Uzbekistan progressed to the semifinals of the boxing tournament of Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

In the quarterfinals of the tournament Rustam Tulyaganov, who competes in weight category of up to 91 kg, defeated Abdulkodir Abdullaev from Azerbaijan and reached the next round.

Advancing to semifinals, Tulyaganov ensured that he wins at least bronze medal of Olympic Games. In the semifinals, Tulyaganiv will face Russian Evgeny Tischenko.
