Uzbekneftegaz increases natural gas production

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Specialists of Uzbekneftegaz received a new industrial flow of natural gas from exploration well No. 7 of Uchtepa field. The average daily flow of gas is 300,000-350,000 cubic meters.

Geological exploration works at Uchtepa field are carried out in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On approval of the State program for the development and reproduction of the mineral resource base for Uzbekneftegaz for the period 2017-2021" dated 3 November 2017, the press service of Uzbekneftegaz said in a statement.

Well No. 7 was drilled to a depth of 1350 meters and gas condensate studies will be conducted within 10 days to determine the parameters of the productive horizon (pressure, temperature, gas composition, etc.)

It should be noted that this field is located in Bulakbashi district of Andijan region. Earlier, industrial gas inflows with a flow rate of up to 386,000 cubic meters a day were obtained from wells No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 1-Yura Uchtepa. m / day.

Obtaining the inflow of natural gas from well No. 7 expanded the contour of the field and increased its reserves, as well as increased opportunities for providing natural gas to the population of the Fergana Valley.
