Total volume of used investments into fixed capital in Uzbekistan comprised 12.531 trillion soums, or grew by 24.8% year-on-year.
Agriculture output of Uzbekistan made up 12.642 trillion soums in January-December 2009, or grew by 5.7% year-on-year. About 7.224 trillion soums fell to share of plant growing products (up 5.9% year-on-year) and 5.418 trillion soums to cattle breeding (up 5.5% year-on-year).
Industrial production of Uzbekistan made up 28.009 trillion soums in 2009, or grew by 9% year-on-year, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.
Russia remained main foreign trade partner of Uzbekistan in 2009. According to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee, the share of Russia in foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan in 2009 was 21%.
Energy resources were the main export item of Uzbekistan in 2009. Share of energy resources in total volume of exports in Uzbekistan grew from 24.7% in 2008 to 34.2% in 2009, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.
Small businesses of Uzbekistan produced 50.1% of Uzbekistan’s gross domestic product (GDP) in 2009 compared to 48.2% in 2008.
Number of registered legal entities in Uzbekistan made up 503,400 as of 1 January 2010, of which 471,800 or 93.7% of total registered enterprises were operating, according to Single State Registrar of Enterprises and Organizations.
Number of permanent population of Uzbekistan grew by 467,400 or 1.7% to 28 million as of 1 January 2010.
Gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan made up 48.097 trillion soums, or grew by 8.1% year-on-year, the report of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
