China receives 10m c.m. of gas from Central Asia every day

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Currently, daily volume of natural gas supplies through China-Central Asia gas pipeline, which was launched on 15 December 2009, exceeded 10 million cubic meters, Xinhua reported.
The report said quoting Urumqi customs service that Horgos checkpoint is carrying out control over gas supplies.
China-Central Asia gas pipeline unites Turkmenistan and China through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Total extension of gas pipeline is 1,833 km.
Currently, China received 947 million cubic meters of gas so far. In future, the gas pipeline will transport 30 billion cubic meters of gas annually.
