Uzbekistan increases raw ethyl alcohol production by 7.6%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased production of raw ethyl alcohol by 7.5% year-on-year to 3,954 million decilitres in January-October.
Uzbekistan increased output of edible alcohol by 7.2 % to 3.748 million decilitres and technical alcohol by 3.7% to 23.300 decilitres. Rectified alcohol production aggregated to 691.910 decilitres.
The production of vodka and alcoholic beverage products also grew by 7.4% to 6.969 million decilitres. Cognac’s production decreased by 0.3% to 21.500 decilitres and grape wine fell by 6.8% to 1.691 million decilitres.
In the reporting period, Uzbekistan produced 94.400 decelitres of champagne and 16.3 million decelitres of beer.
