Exhibition “Road to Samarkand. Miracles of silk and gold" takes place in Paris

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 and 16 April, the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan as part of the cultural and educational program for the exhibition "Road to Samarkand. Miracles of Silk and Gold” at the Institute of the Arab World in Paris, organized a series of lectures and master classes on the applied arts of Uzbekistan.

The program included a master class by the famous Uzbek designer Madina Kasymbayeva, a lecture "Uzbek suzannes: life and magic" by art critic Elmira Gul. The visitors got acquainted with the rich heritage of the applied arts of Uzbekistan, and also took part in master classes on creating suzani.

Exhibition “Road to Samarkand. Miracles of Silk and Gold” is open in Paris until 4 June 2023.
