Uzbekistan to launch first K-Root server

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the UADay event held in Yerevan on March 28, the UZINFOCOM Unified Integrator held talks with the regional registrar RIPE NCC on the launch of the K-Root world server in Uzbekistan.

The presence of the root server in Uzbekistan is a great contribution to the development of the DNS system, which, in turn, will significantly increase its fault tolerance and stability. Thanks to the appearance of a K-root server in Uzbekistan, the search process and the Internet will significantly improve. Reducing dependence on external DNS hosts and Internet channels will increase its availability.

Until today, all requests from users of local sites first came to foreign DNS servers. This took some time and made it difficult to process the data.
