Uzbek DPM visits Chinese Embassy to express deep condolences
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 December this year, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev visited the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Uzbekistan to express condolences on the death of the former chairman of the People’s Republic of China and General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Jiang Zemin.
During the conversation with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC to Uzbekistan Jiang Yan, Jiang Zemin’s outstanding merits in the development of the PRC as one of the most dynamically developing countries in the world, which has demonstrated a vivid example of global economic and technological growth in recent decades, were noted.
It was emphasized that during the leadership of Jiang Zemin, bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and China were given a systemic character, which created the basis for bringing them to a qualitatively new level of strategic partnership.
In turn, the head of the Chinese diplomatic mission expressed her deep gratitude for the support and readiness to continue developing large-scale bilateral cooperation in all areas.
During his visit to the embassy, Jamshid Khodjaev made an entry in a special book of condolences.
