The main share of travel agency services falls on the city of Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-September 2022, the largest volume of services provided by travel agencies, tour operators and other booking and related services was recorded in Mirabad (72.12 billion soums), Yakkasaray (50.93 billion soums), Shaykhantakhur (32.78 billion soums), Mirzo-Ulugbek (21.46 billion soums) and Yunusabad (20.87 billion soums) districts of the city of Tashkent, the State Statistics Committee said.

The top 10 cities and regions that experienced high levels of travel agency, tour operator and other booking and related services were:

Mirabad district (Tashkent city) – 72.12 billion soums

Yakkasaray district (Tashkent) – 50.93 billion soums

Shaykhantakhur district (Tashkent) – 32.77 billion soums

Mirzo-Ulugbek district (Tashkent) – 21,46 billion soums

Yunusabad district (Tashkent) – 20.87 billion soums

Samarkand city – 19.73 billion soums

Chilanzar district (Tashkent) – 18.07 billion soums

Urgench city – 15.35 billion soums

Bukhara – 8.63 billion soums

Khiva city – 7.49 billion soums.
