Deputy Prime Minister gets acquainted with the preparation process for "Boysun bahori"
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov visited the village of Padang in Boysun district to get acquainted with the preparatory work for the Boysun bahori international festival, which will be held on 7-8 May 2022.
A presentation of the project took place on the main stage of the festival, which included proposals from experienced scriptwriters and directors, choreographers, artists and designers, as well as creative teams.
It was attended by the relevant deputy khakims of Surkhandarya region, cities and districts, heads of relevant departments and officials of Baysun district.
According to the project, exhibitions of national songs and costumes, folk crafts, fine and applied arts, drone shows, ethno-sport competitions, kupkari goats, wrestling competitions and other nationwide events will be held within the framework of the festival.
Famous artists and folklore groups will take part in the opening ceremony of the festival, as well as an awards ceremony for winners of competitions and sports competitions.
Hundreds of lawns will be laid out on the green hill, where national traditions and values will be demonstrated.
At the end of the presentation, it was instructed to hold an international festival at a high level, which will widely celebrate the national intangible heritage of Uzbekistan.
