In the taekwondo competition in the final in the weight category up to 68 kg, Ulugbek Rashitov faced Bradley Sinden from Great Britain.
Ulugbek Rashitov won the first round with a score of 13-8 and lost the second with a score of 5-6. In the third round, the representative of Uzbekistan won with a score of 16-15.
Ulugbek Rashitov became the champion of the Olympic Games. He became the first Olympic medalist in this sport in the entire history of Uzbekistan.
