Delegation of Uzbekistan visits Kazan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17-18 May, an Uzbek delegation consisting of the khokim of the city of Tashkent Jakhongir Artikhodjaev, the minister of housing and communal services Sherzod Khidoyatov, the khokim of Tashkent region Davron Khidoyatov and other officials are visiting the capital of Tatarstan, the city of Kazan. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent administration.
It should be noted that the officials of Tashkent and Kazan are in constant practically oriented dialogue, exchange views and experience on strengthening cooperation in various fields and joint implementation of socio-economic projects. The purpose of this visit is to exchange experience and study the systems of housing and communal services, urban planning, architecture, landscape design, public transport, as well as social and infrastructure facilities in Kazan.
During the visit, the Uzbek delegation met with the mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin. During the talks, the parties exchanged views on expanding practical cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the field of urban planning in 2021-2022.
The delegation also examined the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest park, the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan, White Flowers Boulevard, the Uram extreme park, the Art City residential complex, Lake Nijny Kaban, educational, sports and other facilities.
