The flexible multi mission helicopter H125 (previously named the AS350 B3e) combines performance, versatility, low maintenance, and low acquisition costs, while excelling in high and hot and extreme environments. It is a member of Airbus’ Ecureuil family, which has accumulated more than 33 million flight hours worldwide. It carries up to six passengers plus one or two pilots. The H125 has broken world records. In 2005, the AS350 B3 performed the highest-altitude landing and takeoff on Mount Everest at 8,848 meters (29,029 feet), a title still held today. In 2013, the AS350 B3 performed the world's highest long-line rescue operation on Lhotse, the world's fourth-highest mountain, located in the Himalayas, at 7,800 meters (25,590 feet).
Another member of the Ecureuil family, the H130 is an intermediate single-engine helicopter tailored for passenger transport, sightseeing and VIP duties, as well as medical airlift and surveillance missions. As a multi-role rotorcraft, the H130 has a spacious cabin for one pilot and up to seven passengers. Depending on the configuration, it can carry up to two pilots, one stretcher and three to four medical crew. Other H130 enhancements include an Active Vibration Control System and advanced environmental control, improved air conditioning and a cabin interior structure redesign with a full flat floor.
