Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-March 2021, 26,800 new small enterprises and microfirms (excluding dekhkans and farms) were created in Uzbekistan, which is 15.0% more than the same period of 2020.
The largest number of small enterprises and microfirms was created in the field of trade - 9093 units, industry - 5602 units, agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 4540 units, construction - 1847 units, accommodation and food services - 1522 units, information and communications - 700 units.
The share of newly created small enterprises and microfirms in their total number by regions in January-March 2021,% of regions, the share of Tashkent in total newly created small enterprises and microfirms is 16.8%, in Kashkadarya region - 11.4%, Samarkand region -9 , 0%, Tashkent region - 8.8%, Ferghana region - 7.9%, Namangan region - 6.5%, Bukhara region - 6.5%.
In January-March 2021, the number of operating small businesses per 1000 people was 16.1 units.
In January-March 2021, in the context of cities and districts, the largest indicator of the number of operating small businesses (per 1000 people) was in Bektemir district - 68.9 units, Yakkasaray district - 64.7 units, Mirabad district - 49.8 units, Karaulbazar district - 45.9 units, Tamdy district - 44.7 units, Chilanzar district - 43, 9 units, Gulistan city - 43.8 units, Sergeli district -42.7 units.
In January-March 2021, the share of small business in GDP was 45.0% (44.7% in January-March 2020).
In January-March 2021, the volume of exports of products (works, services) of small businesses amounted to US$659.9 million, or 27.5% of its total volume.
In Navoi region (7.9%), the share of small businesses in the export of products (works, services) remains low.
In the regional context, the largest share of small businesses in the import of products (works, services) falls on Surkhandarya (92.7%), Namangan (82.4%), Jizzakh (81.1%), Ferghana (80.9%) and Khorezm (67.7%) regions. In the Andijan region (13.6%), the share of small businesses in the import of products (works, services) remains low.
In the regional context, the largest volume of industrial production falls on the city of Tashkent (5.11 trillion soums), Tashkent (2.72 trillion soums), Ferghana (1.93 trillion soums), Samarkand (1.78 trillion soums) ) and Andijan (1.55 trillion soums) regions. In Surkhandarya region (434.2 billion soums), the volume of industrial production remains low.
In January-March 2021, the share of small businesses in the total industrial production amounted to 22.2%.
In the regional context, the largest volume of retail trade turnover was recorded in Tashkent (7.04 trillion soums), Tashkent (4.26 trillion soums), Ferghana (3.41 trillion soums), Andijan (3.14 trillion soums) , Samarkand (3.11 trillion soums) and Surkhandarya (2.9 trillion soums) regions.
In January-March 2021, the volume of construction work performed by small businesses amounted to 15.47 trillion soums, or 79.1% of the total volume of construction work. By the level of January-March 2020, the growth rate reached 106.0%.
In the regional context, the largest volume of completed construction work was recorded in Tashkent (3.83 trillion soums), Tashkent (1.49 trillion soums), Ferghana (1.2 trillion soums), Samarkand (1.11 trillion soums)), Bukhara (1 trillion soums), Kashkadarya (961.7 billion soums) and Namangan (932.6 billion soums) regions.
In January-March 2021, small businesses produced (rendered) services for 31,510.2 billion soums (51.7% of the total volume of services provided), compared to January-March 2020, the growth rate reached 5.1%.
In the regional context, the largest volume of services was noted in Tashkent (9.88 trillion soums), Tashkent (3.2 trillion soums), Samarkand (2.67 trillion soums), Ferghana (2.56 trillion soums), Andijan (2.03 trillion soums), Kashkadarya (1.86 trillion soums) and Bukhara (1.8 trillion soums) regions.
In January-March 2021, the share of small businesses in the total volume of cargo transportation amounted to 38.9%, compared to January-March 2020, the growth rate reached 1.8%.
In January-March 2021, the share of small businesses in the total cargo turnover amounted to 68.5%, compared to January-March 2020, the growth rate reached 2.1%.
In January-March 2021, the share of small businesses in the total volume of passenger transportation amounted to 93.1%, compared to January-March 2020, the growth rate reached 3.6%.
In January-March 2021, the share of small businesses in the total passenger turnover amounted to 95.3%, compared to January-March 2020, the growth rate reached 2.4%.
In general, 20093 small enterprises and microfirms took part in the survey, of which 5776 (28.8%) entities rated the economic situation as favorable, 13029 (64.8%) - as satisfactory, 1288 (6.4%) - as unsatisfactory.
By type of economic activity, the share of small enterprises and microfirms participating in the sample survey was in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 7.0% (1416 units), industry - 18.4% (3697 units), construction - 8, 5% (1697 units), trade - 37.1% (7460 units).
The regions with the largest number of small enterprises and microfirms participating in the sample survey are Tashkent (4338 units), Samarkand (1856 units), Tashkent (1852 units), Ferghana (1713 units), Andijan (1351 units) regions.
Enterprises and microfirms that are confident in a favorable economic situation in the current period account for trade enterprises - 31.1%, industry - 28.3%, construction and services - 27.8%.
The largest share of enterprises that rated the economic situation as satisfactory was recorded in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 68.5%, services - 65.6%, industry - 65.0%.
In the first quarter of 2021, the largest share of small enterprises and microfirms that rated the prospects for changes in the next three months as favorable was in trade - 61.2%, industry - 60%, construction - 59.7%.
Also, enterprises that rated the economic situation as satisfactory accounted for 41.9% in the service sector, 38.8% in agriculture, forestry and fisheries, and 37.7% in industry.
