24 Uzbeks returned to Uzbekistan from Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 March, as part of the humanitarian operation Mehr-4 (Kindness-4), 24 Uzbeks returned to Uzbekistan from Afghanistan.
Among those who returned to their homeland are 19 children, including four orphans. Previously, they were on the territory of Afghanistan and Pakistan in areas occupied by international terrorist organizations.
Representatives of Surkhandarya region administration, regional departments of the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health met compatriots at the Ayritom border post in the Termez region.
Earlier the Government of Uzbekistan carried out three humanitarian actions "Mehr-1", "Mehr-2" and "Mehr-3". As part of these actions, more than 320 women and children were returned to Uzbekistan from the conflict zone in the Middle East.
