Loans to be allocated for the purchase of cotton pickers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presidential resolution "On measures to financially support the mechanization of the harvest of raw cotton" was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, the share of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development in the authorized capital of JSCB "Agrobank" will be increased by US$50 million.

These funds will be used to allocate loans to cotton-textile clusters and other economic entities for the purchase of domestically produced cotton pickers at the main rate of the Central Bank.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokims of regions and districts will form a specific list of applicants for cotton pickers in the regions.
