Sanitary requirements for schools during a pandemic determined

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Justice has carried out a legal examination of the temporary sanitary and epidemiological requirements developed by the Ministry of Health for organizing the activities of secondary schools and secondary special boarding schools during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The document was registered.

This document will be implemented to ensure a safe environment in all secondary schools and special boarding schools, regardless of their form of ownership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The document, in particular, envisages the following requirements:

it is recommended to start classes after 8:00 and finish no later than 17:30, lessons can be organized in three shifts;

during the pandemic, mass events are temporarily suspended (meetings, concerts, birthdays, etc.);

all children and their legal representatives must wear masks.

before entering the school, medical staff / responsible staff will organize a special "morning filtration" point with the maintenance of an appropriate log; after "morning filtration" students' hands should be disinfected with antiseptic from dispensers installed at the entrances;

it is prohibited to enter the school without masks or respirators. Masks should be changed every 3 hours, respirators - every 8 hours;

in classrooms, each student must have a space of at least 2 m²;

during a pandemic, school canteens must organize work in compliance with the requirements of current sanitary measures and rules;

in case of revealing signs of infectious diseases in a student or a school employee, he must be immediately isolated until the arrival of an ambulance or parents (legal representative).
