Uzbek-Belarusian inter-MFA consultations held in Minsk

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 November 2019, a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan was received by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Yevdochenko in Minsk, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The issues of strengthening the Uzbek-Belarusian in the information sphere in the context of state interaction and the dynamic development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in different fields were discussed.
On the same day, the first round of inter-MFA consultations on information support of foreign policy and working with the media took place, in which the delegation of Belarus led by the head of the Department of Information and Digital Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anatoly Glaz took part.
An exchange of views took place on issues of information support for foreign policy events, interaction with foreign media, accreditation of journalists, the use of digital diplomacy mechanisms, coordination of information work of foreign institutions on social networks.
An agreement was reached on holding the next round of consultations in Tashkent in 2020.
