Management Innovation Days opens in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 October, Tashkent hosted an opening of Management Innovation Days for the second time, an annual event dedicated to promoting innovative approaches in public administration.
The organizers of the event are the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Innovative Development, the Republican Higher School of Business and Management and the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan.
The main goal of the days is to discuss innovative approaches, methods and solutions in the field of public administration to improve the planning, implementation and monitoring of public policy, improve the quality and accessibility of public services. The event will feature presentations, organized seminars and working discussions on topics such as the digital economy, blockchain, big data, behavioral methods, smart city, design of digital services and others.
International and national experts in the field of breakthrough innovations, the digital economy, alternative financing, the organization of innovative laboratories to improve the efficiency of public administration, and the design of public services were invited as speakers.
Among them:
Mustafa Hamvey, International Author and CEO of Passionpreneur (United Arab Emirates / Australia);
Robert Pasichko, Expert on Low Carbon Development and Alternative Finance, UNDP Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia;
Dumitru Vasilescu, Political Specialist, UNDP Innovation Laboratory in Moldova;
Jinwon Ho, Doctor, E-Government Consultant (Republic of Korea);
Sangchul Shin, Doctor, Information and Communications Technology Consultant (Republic of Korea);
Alisher Fayzullaev, Ph.D., professor, business trainer, former ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UK, Benelux countries, the European Union and NATO.
The main events of the days will be held at the Republican Higher School of Business and Management.
For the first time the Days of Management Innovation in Uzbekistan were held in December 2018 and included seminars, lectures, presentations in the field of innovation development strategy, innovation laboratories, design thinking, evidence-based policy, data-based management, design of public services taking into account user needs , as well as the use of behavioral tools in public administration.
