Uzbekistan Day takes place in St. Petersburg
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Within the framework of the IX St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, which was held from 1 to 4 October 2019, Uzbekistan Day was held, which presented the richness, identity and diversity of our country.
The national attention of Uzbekistan, where they could get acquainted with geography, attractions, natural resources, industrial potential and other aspects of the life and development of the republic, attracted great attention of participants and guests of the event, among whom were leading and leading industry enterprises. In addition to acquaintance with the exposition of the stand, the forum's guests were presented with a meaningful cultural program, which included a tasting of dishes of national Uzbek cuisine, including real Uzbek pilaf and a concert of Uzbek pop singers.
As part of the cultural program, the famous Uzbek performers Sevara Nazarhan, Elena Madmusaeva and the Yalla group, the Uzbekistan national dance ensemble performed on stage.
Also within the framework of the forum, a report was made by the Chairman of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Bakhodir Sidikov on the topic “Interaction of oil and gas companies of Uzbekistan and Russia in the fields of standardization and conformity assessment”.
The “Uzbekistan Day” was undoubtedly one of the most striking events of the IX St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, and effectively served to expand existing and establish new mutually beneficial business contacts.
It is worth noting that the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum is the largest event in the oil and gas industry of the Russian Federation, a leading platform for discussing topical issues between top managers of the largest oil and gas companies, representatives of innovation centers and design institutes, experts, academics, heads of specialized universities and research institutes. This year it was attended by over 30,000 people from 55 countries.
