UNDP project to conduct study on use of modern behavioral theories in public administration

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The UNDP project "Assistance in the development of effective public administration and digital transformation" starts a study entitled "The use of modern behavioral theories (Nudge Theory) in public administration".
Within the study, it is also planned to conduct an experiment on the application of modern behavioral theories in public administration.
The main objective of this study is to demonstrate the potential of applying the theory of pushing in solving specific problems that today are most of all troubling society, through practical testing of the principles of this theory.
This is due to a slight change in the social context that influences the process of making group and individual decisions through positive reinforcement and indirect indications.
At this stage, a team of researchers is actively working to identify the problem, in relation to which the theory of nudging can be applied, since not all kinds of problems can be solved in a short period of time dedicated to conducting an experiment and demonstrating the results.
The next stage is planned to conduct a brainstorm with the participation of civil servants - representatives of interested ministries and departments in the framework of the joint Laboratory of Innovation and Management Solutions of the Ministry of Innovation Development and UNDP in Uzbekistan.
