Issues of cooperation in the field of innovation between Uzbekistan and Israel considered

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2-8 July 2019, Israel was visited by a delegation led by Timur Azamatov, director of the Innovative Center for Supporting the Development and Implementation of Information Technologies of the Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center (MUIC).
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel, the visit was the result of agreements between MUIC and the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT).
In the course of negotiations with the President of HIT, Professor Eduard Yakubov, the issues of establishing cooperation in the areas of training in such areas as industrial mathematics, educational technologies, innovations, artificial intelligence and others were discussed. An agreement was reached on the preparation of a cooperation agreement in the above-mentioned areas.
In addition, in order to study the Israeli experience in the practical implementation of the Israeli innovation and technological developments in the educational process, negotiations were held in the Israeli Administration on innovation issues, which are responsible for planning and implementing the country’s policy in the relevant field.
The Uzbek delegation also got acquainted with the activities of innovation centers and start-up incubators “Peres Center for Peace and Innovation”, “Diamond Tech Innovation Center”, “AtoBe” at the Azrieli Academic Engineering College, as well as innovative companies “HackerU” technology and security, and Watergen, which delivered to Uzbekistan in May.
