Tashkent region hosts master class for specialists, working with women and strengthening spiritual and moral values in families

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the occasion of the International Family Day in Fayzobod mahalla of Tashkent district of Tashkent region, an event was held for professionals working in the makhallas on topical issues relating to family and reproductive health.
The organizers of this information campaign are the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center Oila under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The information campaign aims to demonstrate once again with the example of master classes how it is necessary to carry out the work of specialists working with women and families in the communities to increase public awareness of basic issues of reproductive health and reproductive rights. In particular, master classes organized with the participation of specialists from various departments were devoted to informing the public:
- the meaning and possibilities of family planning;
- the needs and rights of a pregnant woman to ensure healthy motherhood;
-the role of involvement of men in the issues of parenting, housekeeping, equal relations;
- the responsibility of both men and women for a healthy lifestyle for the benefit of the health of the family as a whole and each member individually.
This event also contributed to the development of skills for working with women and families, namely, on effective methods and approaches to disseminate knowledge on healthy lifestyle and creating a healthy family.
International Family Day is annually celebrated on 15 May. This date provides an additional opportunity to highlight the importance of family-related issues and expand knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes that affect the family, its health and well-being.
In 2018, the day - 15 May was proclaimed as the National Family Day in Uzbekistan. The family has always been and remains a national value in Uzbekistan, the problems of which receive constant and close attention at the state level.
One of the directions of such attention is the selfless work of the many thousands army of Mahalla specialists in every city, region and every rural settlement of Uzbekistan for the benefit of the prosperity of each family, as the basis of the state.
