Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Moscow companies will present new medical equipment at the 24th international exhibition Health-TIHE 2019, which will be held in Tashkent from 16 to 18 April.
At the main exhibition of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 16 Moscow companies will present their products and services in the field of high-tech medicine: rehabilitation, prosthetics, dentistry, and medical equipment.
Under the single brand “Made in Moscow”, modern bioelectric prostheses will be presented, which are made to the individual characteristics of patient injuries. Their advantage is that they are complemented by gadgets, and at the same time they are cheaper than their foreign counterparts. Also the exhibition will demonstrate a multifunctional portable ultrasound system, which is designed to study blood circulation and combines the whole range of Doppler studies in a single device.
Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the work of the autonomous device, which is able to record the readings of the electroencephalography and the patient’s biosignals 24 hours a day, without restricting his movement. Also, metropolitan developers will bring an ultrasound scanner to Tashkent, which is designed to conduct all types of ultrasound examinations. An innovative device scans human organs and systems, followed by computer processing of data.
The decision on the participation of Moscow exporters in the Healthcare-TIHE 2019 exhibition was made in 2018, when the capital entrepreneurs for the first time through online voting determined the list of 25 international exhibitions for the Made in Moscow program.
"The Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow conducts consistent work to increase the export of Moscow products abroad and helps businessmen, including from the medical field, to enter into new contracts and strengthen business ties," said Alexey Fursin, department head. Pharmaceutical products exports from Moscow to Uzbekistan in 2018 exceeded US$40 million. Compared with 2017, this figure increased by one third. And the share of Moscow exports in total exports of medical and pharmaceutical products from the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan this year was 42.3%. We expect that participation in the Healthcare-TIHE 2019 exhibition will allow capital companies to establish new business contacts and increase the volume of supplies to Uzbekistan. ”
As part of the business program of the event, the government delegation of Uzbekistan plans to visit the “Made in Moscow” stand. Also within the exhibition there will be a meeting of representatives of the Moscow business with the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“Made in Moscow” is a program of the Moscow government, which has been implemented since 2016. It represents the organization of collective stands at Russian and foreign exhibitions under a common brand, which opens access to international markets for capital companies. The Moscow government finances up to 100% of the capital producers’ expenses for participation in Russian and foreign events, and also organizes business meetings for Moscow companies with buyers, investors and international companies.
