Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the Program approved by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the decree “On organization of the activities of the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” dated 2 February 2019, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the Ministry of Public Education will annually order all the necessary printed materials at the printing houses of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications (AIMC).
“When analyzing magazines, record books, student cards, etc., a number of shortcomings were found, including spelling and stylistic mistakes,” said Mizrob Buranov, deputy director of the Uzbekistan Publishing and Printing House. - On the basis of the resolution on expansion of entrepreneurial activity, to date, the printed matter that was used in the education system has been published in private printing houses. The aforementioned deficiencies were the result of the unprofessional work of editors and proofreaders, and sometimes their absence, in private printing houses, which, moreover, are not controlled by the relevant government agencies responsible for the quality and sanitary standards of printed products for students. ”
In this regard, it was decided that starting from this year, student IDs, rating books, cool journals, time sheets, certificates and other necessary printing products will be printed only at the printing houses at the Agency.
“The goal of the implementation of this system is to ensure the quality and compliance of printed materials with sanitary standards,” said Mizrob Buranov. “Thus, printed products that meet state standards and norms will be supplied to educational institutions of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the Ministry of Public Education on the basis of an order for concluded contracts.”
