International Forum Uzbekistan 2035 to be held in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Second International Forum to discuss proposals for Long-term Development Strategy Concept with the participation of deputies, government bodies, scientific and educational institutions, international organizations, and experts will take place in Tashkent on 5-6 February 2019.
The event is scheduled to be held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The 2nd International Forum Uzbekistan 2035 is the next stage in the work on the Concept of Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2035. A broad discussion of the concept is planned at the Forum sites, after which the final document will be presented to the attention of the country’s leadership.
The International Forum was held on 28-29 June 2018, in which the main approaches to the development of the document were discussed. In July-September 2018, as part of the “field research”, meetings were held in ministries and departments, collection of baseline data was organized, on the basis of which an analysis of the current state of the economy was carried out, taking into account the proposals and experts’ comments, a preliminary version of the Uzbekistan Development Strategy Concept till 2035 was prepared.
In December 2018, a presentation of the draft Development Strategy Concept was held for representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The draft Concept of the Development Strategy is considered as a platform for further development and changes in the framework of joint work with government bodies.
