The Uzbek-German business forum to be held in Berlin
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the eve of the visit of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Germany, on 14 January, the Uzbek-German Business Forum and bilateral negotiations with German companies, organizations and banking and financial institutions of Germany will be held in Berlin.
The event was organized by the State Investment Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the East Committee of the German Economy.
The participation of the heads of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy of Germany, the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the German-Uzbek Business Council is expected.
In general, over 250 representatives of leading German companies will take part in the forum, including ThyssenKrupp, MAN, Knauf, Linde, Takraf, Deutsche Bahn, Siemens, CLAAS, Deutsche Lufthansa and many others.
The event is planned to discuss development of bilateral investment and trade cooperation, joint implementation of promising projects in the Republic of Uzbekistan in various industries, including petrochemical and chemical industries, health, agriculture, mechanical engineering, production of modern building materials, tourism.
During the forum, it is planned to hold meetings of businessmen of the two countries in the format of "G2B" and "B2B", as well as the signing of a package of investment and trade agreements.
