Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of the Road Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan were forbidden to issue a protocol on administrative violation of the traffic rules outside the territory, assigned to them.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan approved a regulation on the procedure for regulating the traffic police relations with road users and the use of special devices.
The document notes that the traffic police officers are prohibited from drawing up protocols on administrative violation of traffic violations outside the territory assigned to them.
The driver has the right to request an information on assigned territory to the police office or data on the special events of the Central Information and Dispatch Service - Information and Dispatch Service (TSIDS-IDS).
Protocols, issued outside the attached territory have no legal force and do not entail legal consequences.
At the same time, traffic police officers can issue a protocol in cases when an accident is detected, a traffic violation that endangers road safety, or an emergency situation occurs.
In these cases, the traffic police officer may draw up protocols, but the management can carry out inspection to assess actions of the police officer.
