Citizens of Uzbekistan suffer in road accident in Kazakhstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Foreign Ministry’s Consular and Legal Department, on 22 November 2018 at 20.40, on the Samara – Shymkent highway, a traffic accident occurred with the participation of the “Vanhol” brand bus, the driver of which, a citizen of Kazakhstan, S. Baltabaev, lost control of the vehicle due to icing, and the vehicle turned over.
According to the Aral region police department of the Kyzylorda region’s interior department, there were 36 passengers on the bus, including 34 citizens of Uzbekistan and 2 citizens of Kazakhstan.
After being injured in the Aral district hospital, a citizen of Uzbekistan Zokir Ahrorov, born in 1986, died.
Seven citizens of Uzbekistan O. Abdukarimov, I. Mamurov, A., Samiboev, N. Askarov, R. Makhmarizayev, K. Mamadaliev, R. Turaboev received minor injuries and were provided with necessary medical assistance. The rest of the citizens of Uzbekistan were accommodated in the Sayakhat hotel.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan and the Consulate General in Almaty provide the necessary assistance to the victims. All remaining citizens of Uzbekistan after completing all the formalities of the accident will soon be transported by bus to the border of Uzbekistan.
