Uzbekistan takes 105th place in the UN Human Development Index

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan took the 105th place in the UN Human Development Index. The United Nations Development Program prepares and published this index.
The Human Development Index is an indicator calculated annually for the intercountry measurement of the quality of life.
When calculating it, coefficients based on three main indicators are used: life expectancy, literacy level of the population and standard of living.
Uzbekistan with the index of 0.710 entered the group of countries with a high level of human development.
Norway took the first place in the index. The top five also included Switzerland, Australia, Ireland and Germany.
