Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on 12 September 2018 amended the executive structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
The head of Uzbekistan abolished the post of Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan - head of the complex on geology, fuel and energy complex, chemical; petrochemical and metallurgical industry - the chairman of the board of the joint-stock company "Uzbekneftaz".
At the same time, the President introduced the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - head of the complex on geology, fuel and energy complex, chemical, petrochemical and metallurgical industries.
Alisher Sultanov was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Head of the Complex for Geology, Fuel and Energy Complex, Chemical, Petrochemical and Metallurgical Industry.
Sultanov was dismissed from the post of Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz.
Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov was appointed as Acting Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz. Prior to this appointment, he worked as Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia.
