Alexander Lukashenko plans to visit Uzbekistan in September

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko plans to visit Uzbekistan on an official visit in September 2018. This was announced by the Chairman of the Council of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich at a meeting with the parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Nigmatlya Yuldashev.
According to BelTA, the parties discussed issues of improving the legal framework of bilateral relations.
Mikhail Myasnikovich noted that Uzbekistan and Belarus should step up work on expanding the legal framework, considering that Alexander Lukashenko is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan in September.
"We actually worked out the key agreements that are planned to be submitted to the heads of state during the upcoming official visit to Uzbekistan of President Alexander Lukashenko. Previously, the date of the visit was agreed on 13-14 September, "he said.
At the moment, the parties are working on 11 draft agreements, including on socio-economic, scientific and technical cooperation, tourism.
