Khokim of Tashkent and Governor of Chelyabinsk region discuss cooperation issues

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent’s khokim Jahongir Artykkhodjaev and Chelyabinsk Region’s Governor Boris Dubrovsky discussed the resumption of a direct air service between Chelyabinsk and Tashkent.
According to the press service of the Governor of Chelyabinsk region, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari plans to study the issue of resuming air service between Chelyabinsk and Tashkent. A special joint group will be created for consideration of the issue.
The parties also discussed establishment of a joint Russian-Uzbek enterprise for production of tower cranes. The company "Crane Technologies" with a partner from Uzbekistan intend to implement this project.
Jahongir Artykkhodjaev and Boris Dubrovsky discussed the use of 100-meter rails produced of the Mechel Group of Companies for the needs of the subway and railway transport in Uzbekistan, delivery of South Ural metal products, and the use at the airports of Uzbekistan of special radio equipment of the Chelyabinsk NPT RTS.
The parties considered the issues of export of vegetables and fruits to Chelyabinsk region using the capabilities of the TLC Yuzhnouralsky.
The sides also discussed the prospects for student and cultural exchange between Chelyabinsk and Tashkent.
