Mininfocom and Ministry of Communications of Russia discuss development of digital television broadcasting

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Azim Ahmedkhadjayev met with Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Alexei Volin.
Representatives of the Presidential Administration for Public Relations and Communications, VGTRK, MIA "Russia Today", "First Channel", "Russia 24" TV channels took part in the meeting, the press service of the Mininfocom said.
During the conversation, the prospects of expanding bilateral relations in the media communication field in such areas as development of digital television broadcasting, technology parks, digital economy, Internet regulation, preparation of ICT specialists and other issues were considered.
In particular, the Russian delegation acquainted the Uzbek colleagues with the transition to digital television broadcasting in Russia and offered solutions to Russian platforms for organization of mobile television. In addition, the sides discussed the issue of attracting Russian filmmakers for filming of documentary films and programs about outstanding Uzbek figures, contribution of Uzbek scientists to the development of world civilization.
The parties also agreed to organize on a regular basis special forums and seminars for the press services of state bodies and expressed their readiness to assist each other in the professional development of specialists.
