Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan signed contracts worth about US$200 million within the framework of the business forum in Tashkent. This was announced on 5 October by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The head of Uzbekistan during negotiations with the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambaev noted that the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan grew 10 times in the first six months of 2017.
"And if we remove the existing obstacles, it will give another impulse to our bilateral relations and cooperation," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
Uzbek President said that within the framework of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek business forum contracts worth about US$200 million were signed. “And this is just the beginning, I think,” the Uzbek president added.
