Park with dolphinarium to be created in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About US$60 million will be invested in Tashkent till 2020 to create a modern and high-tech park of culture and recreation.

The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures to create a modern and high-tech park of culture and recreation in the city of Tashkent”.

According to the document, Stargate Systems LLC will invest US$60 million to create modern and high-tech park of culture and recreation on the basis of the park “O‘zbekiston milliy bog‘i (National Park of Uzbekistan) with a total area of 20.79 hectares with a lake.

Stargate Systems developed the concept of a project the reconstruction and modernization of the park. After modernization, the park will serve daily up to 10,000 visitors throughout the year.

Reproduction of famous architectural masterpieces of the world will be built in the park. An amphitheater and a cartoon fountain with the projection of color images on it will be built. New attractions will be installed and other facilities for family recreation will be created.

A large shopping and entertainment center, a place for ceremonial events in the palace-castle style, children’s cafes and entertainment grounds will be built in the new park.

A dolphinarium for show programs with four trained dolphins will be built in the park as well.
