Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan signed a framework agreement on joint realization of investment projects in petro and gas chemical, mining and metallurgy industries with Gazprombank and Russia Export Center.
Three-year agreement is directed at developing and strengthening technological and market positions of the companies of Uzbekistan and Russia, creating long-term systematic stimulus for developing their competition at international markets, forming consolidated positions in the sphere of developing petro-gas chemical, mining and metallurgy industries.
The document envisages realization of several joint projects in Uzbekistan. Gazprombank will provide financing to creation of production of synthetic liquid fuel at Shurtan Gas Chemical Plant, including export supplies of air separation facilities of Russia’s Kriogenmash.
The agreement also envisages organization of financing of Gazprombank to construction of the plant on production of metal sheet with a capacity of up to 500,000 tonnes a year and organization of supplies of 44 units of excavator equipment for the needs of the mining industry of Uzbekistan with a total value of at least US$155 million in 2017-2021.
Russian Export Center will provide insurance coverage on financing of the projects, indicated in the agreement.
