Uzbek Labour Ministry’s delegation visits Poland

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Ministry of Labour of Uzbekistan is paying a visit to Poland to discuss perspectives of cooperation in the field of labour.
Embassy of Uzbekistan in Warsaw hosted a meeting of the delegation with the heads of TRADMA, HR AGENCIA, EL-IN, JP CONSTRUCT.
The Uzbek delegation also held two meetings with the governors of Lodz and Lublin regions. The first region is the leader in textile industry, while the second – in agriculture sector.
The Uzbek delegation briefed the Polish side on history of the Agency on external labour migration of Uzbekistan, its tasks and goals, as well as benefit of cooperation in the field of attracting labour forces.
The Polish side expressed interest in such cooperation, attracting attention to shortage of skilled trained specialists in agriculture, husbandry, textile and food industries. The Polish side, pointing to problems with issuing work permissions, expressed readiness to speed up and simplify the procedure, so the workers from Uzbekistan could start work at Polish enterprises.
The delegation also held meetings with the representatives of Lublin Business Club of Entrepreneurs and directors of HR agency TRADMA. The sides reached agreement on establishing fruitful cooperation.
Polish side expressed hope to take part in attracting labour forces from Uzbekistan to Poland and help Polish businesses to enter the Uzbek market and direct investments to economy.
