Road traffic video surveillance system starts to record violations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A system of management of road traffic security in Tashkent will start to record road traffic violations in test regime from 15 March, head of road traffic security department of Tashkent city Holmatjon Saydaliev said.
Road traffic video surveillance cameras were installed at 155 roads in Tashkent. The cameras so far worked in test mode, but did not record violations.
Holmatjon Saydaliev underlined that from 15 March the drivers will start to receive fines for road traffic violations.
He said that during the process, the specialists will test all equipment and eliminate existing problems. That’s why, the fines will be issued in test regime.
