Russian Embassy in Tashkent receives condolences

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Embassy of Russia in Uzbekistan is receiving condolences in connection with a tragic catastrophe with the Russian aircrafts, which was conducting flight from Sharm el-Sheikh to Saint Petersburg on 31 October 2015.
The Russian Embassy said: “We are grateful to all Uzbek people, who are expressing condolences and sincere sympathy on the phone, letters to the Embassy or through social networks. Special thanks to those who brought flowers, candles, soft toys to the gates of the Russian diplomatic mission and shared our grief.”
“Certainly it is one of the evidence that the relationship between the peoples of Russia and Uzbekistan are genuinely friendly and open and is a solid foundation of strategic partnership and allied relations between our countries,” the diplomatic mission said.
The book of condolences will be opened at the Embassy of Russia in Uzbekistan on 2-3 November.
The plane Airbus A321 of Russian airline Metrojet (Kogalymavia), conducting a flight from Sharm el-Sheikh to Saint Petersburg on 31 October 2015, crushed in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
There were 224 people on board, including 17 children and seven crew members. No people survived in the result of the accident.
